Even though there are no radio stations per se in San Diego that are libertarian, except for MAYBE Roger Hedgecock, there are some around the country that you can stream.
Chris Reed is an opinion editor for the SAN DIEGO UNION-TRIBUNE. He describes himself as "libertarian lite."
He is EXCELLENT! And yes, he does publicly oppose the drug war -- though his emphasis is our state's economic woes. And yes, I'm occasionally a guest.
Currently Chris hosts a 2 hour KOGO talk show (AM-600), 6-8 PM, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Since he started this gig, Chris has gotten better and better as a host.
Unlike Hedgecock who dwells on illegal aliens (guaranteed to fill the phone lines), Chris is FAR closer to our viewpoint. In addition, he's more succinct -- delivering more excellent information per minute than any talk show host I've ever heard.
Ideally you figure out how to use an "RSS feed" to your browser home page. That way you can see a notification whenever this blog is updated. Indeed, an RSS feed can be used for most blogs and news sites -- all feeding update notifications to your browser home page (I recommend www.igoogle.com as your home browser page).
Assuming this simple procedure is above your pay grade (oddly enough, it is for most), just make Reed's blog a "favorite," and visit it periodically.
For that matter, read MY blog, using the same options.
If we are talking about local AM broadcast stations, there are not any libertarian stations including Roger Hedgecock. Maybe he is regarding city politics, but he is anti-immigrant, a protectionist, an iscolationist and pro-war.
If, however, we want to compare on-line stations, then of course the most libertarian and highly recommended stations are www.freetalklive.com as it is run by two people, one an anarchist and the other is a minarchist who battle it out over local news topics.
Lew Rockwell is another fine resource, and Stephen Monenoux is another.

he like many libertarians, are only libertarian on some issues but not others. roger is a big border fence government project spender but likes to complain about taxes.
He's just missing the principles but picks and chooses his libertarian issues not based on philosophy but what he thinks works for him at the moment.

My favorite is Chip Franklin on KOGO (AM 600) in the morning. Of the limited options, clearly he is the most libertarian choice on the local airwaves. And he IS local in San Diego.

Chip Franklin is awesome. Chris Reed is a Libertarian. Hedgecock is authoritarian. KOGO tends to be conservative. But it is really better with Franklin and Reed.
